Baghdatis Visits Dubai Duty Free

Dubai, UAE, February 27th, 2007: Cypriot tennis sensation Marcos Baghdatis was shown the very best Dubai Duty Free has to offer during a tour of the world-famous shop floor.

Baghdatis, who is competing in the Dubai Duty Free Men’s Open for the first time, met with Managing Director Colm McLoughlin and Tournament Director Salah Tahlak during the 30-minute tour which took in a range of shops and attractions.

Baghdatis enjoyed the opportunity to look at the many watches and phones on display.

The talented 32-player field competing in the Dubai Duty Free Men’s Open includes defending champion Rafael Nadal, three-time champion Roger Federer, world number three Nikolay Davydenko, Adelaide winner Novak Djokovic and German number one Tommy Haas.

The Dubai Tennis Championships is owned and organised by Dubai Duty Free and takes place under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
