Dubai Duty Free, owners and organizers of the tournament, have announced that Grandstand tickets for the men’s semis and finals have completely sold out. Grandstand tickets are also selling fast for the Dubai Duty Free Women’s Open, with limited numbers available for the semis and finals.

Tickets for the prime seating, the first two rows around centre court, have gone through the roof and were sold out within 36 hours of going on sale.

“There have been queues for Grandstand tickets at the Dubai Tennis Stadium box office since day one and we are absolutely delighted with the tremendous interest in this year’s tournament,” said Colm McLoughlin, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free.

“Once again we have secured some of the biggest superstars in tennis and the fans have responded quickly to the high profile line-up of players who are on their way to Dubai.”

One lucky fan who snapped up tickets early was Christine Santiago (pictured), who purchased tickets for her husband and father in-law who will fly in from the Philippines for the award-winning event.

“I just love the tennis and have been every year since I moved to Dubai,” she said.

“I can’t wait to see these great players in action again.”

Ticket prices have been frozen at the same levels as the past three years making it one of the best value-for-money events on the Sony Ericsson WTA and ATP Tours.

As per last year, Grand Stand seating will be on a first come first served basis. The box office at the Dubai Tennis Stadium is open from 10am to 9pm daily, while online tickets (subject to availability) are available on www.timeouttickets.com.
