Roddick Enjoys the Delights of Dubai
Dubai, UAE, March 6th, 2008: Tennis star Andy Roddick has enjoyed a slice of Arabia following a visit to the famous Mina A’ Salam, part of Madinat Jumeirah’s Arabian Resort in Dubai.
The American number one was shown around the resort where he enjoyed a relaxing tour which included a visit to a turtle sanctuary.
“I’ve heard some wonderful reports about Dubai and based on what I have seen so far the city is beyond my wildest expectations,” Roddick said.
“I’ve always wanted to come to this part of the world and I am certainly glad I’m here and enjoying some of the sites and warm hospitality.”
“I really enjoy learning from different cultures and visiting new places and coming to Dubai has been a great experience.”
Roddick has advanced to the quarter-finals of the Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships where he meets Spanish star and world number 2 Rafael Nadal.
The award-winning event attracted eight of the world’s top 10 players.
